Over 300 excursion destinations with just one map
With the Niederösterreich-CARD you have free admission to over 300 excursion destinations in and around Lower Austria. You also get a one-off free uphill and downhill ride on the Salamander trains at the Schneebergbahn. For mountain rides on the Nostalgia Steam Train, you only have to pay the Nostalgia Surcharge of € 10.

You can buy the Niederösterreich-CARD conveniently online at niederoesterreich-card.at. Alternatively, the CARD is available locally at Puchberg station from the Hausmann toba cconist (Tel.: +43 2636 2342).
Opening hours of the Hausmann tobacconist:
- MO - DO: 06:00 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 18:00
- Friday: 06:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00
- Saturday: 06:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00
- Sunday: 07:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00
- Public holiday (regardless of the day of the week): 07:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:00
Redeem the Niederösterreich-CARD at the Schneebergbahn
You can redeem your Niederösterreich-CARD directly in the Schneebergbahn ticket shop - all you have to do is enter the card number in the ticket shop, which you will find either in the Niederösterreich-CARD app, or on the back of your physical Niederösterreich-CARD.
Please note that your Niederösterreich-CARD is cancelled when used in the ticket shop. It is therefore necessary to book the ascent and descent in one transaction.

One child under 6 years of age is transported free of charge per Niederösterreich-Card holder. If you decide to purchase tickets on the spot instead of directly in the online ticket shop, it is recommended to reserve your desired seat free of charge and without obligation:
- One child under 6 years of age per CARD holder is carried free of charge as a lap seat (without entitlement to a seat). The Niederösterreich-CARD-Mini (Child Card) is excluded from this.
- The Niederösterreich-CARD can only be used once per season - regardless of whether you take a ride up and down the mountain or just a one-way trip (e.g. only up the mountain).
- When redeeming your Niederösterreich-CARD in the ticket shop, please make sure to book the ascent and descent in one transaction.
